The Periodization and Building Blocks of Our Performance Training Programs

Phase 01

Muscle Endurance

Master the foundational patterns of squats, presses, and pulls while challenging the aerobic system through the circuit-based phase that trims baby fat and tones muscles.

Phase 02

Muscle Growth (Hypertrophy)

Fewer sets and increased resistance mark this phase that’s headlined by foundational lifts of hang clean, squat, and presses, flanked by a series of super-setted supplemental lifts to flood muscles with blood to maximize growth and strength gains.

Phase 03

Explosive Power

Athletes building upon their hang clean and learn explosive Olympic style lifts as this phase shifts toward a plyometric focus to help develop extra base hit power, explosive drive off the rubber, and a faster first step in the field and on the bases.

Component 01

Dynamic Warmup

Muscles as primed as core temperature increases and muscle activation increases to improve performance and reduce injury risk

Component 02

Primary and Supplemental Lifts

Athletes confidence builds as specially selected variations of single and double limb presses/pulls that match age and skill level are implemented to meet each athlete where they are and strengthen them.

Component 03

Core/Rotational/Plyometric

Rotational core strength, rotator cuff strength/stability, and explosive lower body/sport specific movements are integrated to lay the foundations for sport specific skill.
